ProLeiT at BrauBeviale 2015 in Nuremberg, Germany

This year, ProLeiT will again be on hand at BrauBeviale in Nuremberg, one of the most important capital goods exhibitions of the beverage industry. From 10 to 12 November 2015 you can discover more about our industry-specific automation solutions in Hall 7 / Stand 519. Test our high-performance process control systems brewmaxx and Plant iT and find out more about our new, qualified energy management system (EnMS), developed in accordance with the international standard DIN EN ISO 50001. The following will be showcased at our stand:

brewmaxx EnMS – energy management system
Our EnMS exhibit presents a solution for the energy monitoring and management of production plants. Due to high energy costs and the prevailing assumption that electricity, oil and gas will become increasingly expensive in the future, many manufacturers are asking themselves the question as to whether and how they can continue to produce goods cost efficiently in the future. The exhibit demonstrates how energy consumption in production plants can be initially determined and then considerably reduced. The recording of measured values enables production plants to recognise limit values, incorporate early warning mechanisms for them as well as make predictions about the long and short-term development of consumption and to compare the levels of energy consumption of several years with each other. The application of an energy management solution has a permanent positive effect on the energy balance of production plants.
We recommend production plant operators to integrate our energy management system as an add-on into the existing process control system Plant IT or brewmaxx. The eligibility of Plant Acquis iT EnMS or brewmaxx EnMS, according to the regulations of the German Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control (BAFA), is another very interesting aspect for operators of energy-intensive production plants.

MES at Carlsberg in Fredericia, Denmark:
With an annual output of approximately 4.3 m hl the Carlsberg brewery in Fredericia is one of the largest breweries in Europe. More than 40 brands of beer and more than 20 mixed products make Fredericia the most important brewery location for Carlsberg in Denmark. After re-automating the entire plant with brewmaxx, the existing MES system was replaced with brewmaxx Integrate. Carlsberg now uses brewmaxx Integrate for plant-wide MES reporting and the workflow management system, for integration in the SAP system, for the validation of process batches through staff and for the inventory overviews of production planning. Furthermore, the system documents manual interventions as well as extract loss balances. The integrated reporting system finally combines production and quality data – including specification testing and business intelligence.

Exhibit for the dairy and fruit juice industry
Additionally, an exhibit for the dairy and beverage industry will be showcased that combines Plant Batch iT functions from the fruit juice industry with Plant Liqu iT functions from the dairy industry. The exhibit clearly demonstrates how, for instance, continuous processes and batch processes (milk delivery, separator, evaporator, filtration, drying tower, etc.) can be mapped using a central process control system. Furthermore, the exhibit shows the raw materials intake combined with laboratory data as well as standardised recipe optimisations for the dairy and juice industry. Vertical as well as horizontal integration of plants will be demonstrated for both industries.

Brewhouse, filter, tank farm, filling – the complete automation of a brewery
The brewmaxx exhibit is an extensive demonstration system that covers all the process areas of a brewery and integrates all the important add-ons. For instance, the add-ons Visu-Recorder or Routing Management can also be tested on site.
